Why was he fishing such a light leader? Looked no bigger than 50-60lb flouro or heavy mono. Hes fishing bottom with cut bait targetting fish that rely on scent in water with 2ft visibility. Why chance it ? Just go 3 feet of 160-180lb and no more breakoffs

A real plague an exotic species devouring endemic fish. Just for the Joy of a few fisherman. I'm a fisherman but the 'siluro' it's a real plague in Spain and now in Portugal. Luckely in Portugal if you catch one you are forbiden to release him back in the water.

That fish was alot smaller in the water than in the boat....that's not the same fish ....probably most of the big fish he caught was smaller than you think...example the Golden Dorado ...it was alot smaller in the water than in the boat...I don't believe half the things he says

“The MONSTERS I’m after” 🙄🙄🙄 So annoying. Just educate us in a professional way. We don’t need the disrespect towards nature. These hagfish are extremely important to the eco system. Literally you’re holding a living fossil in your hand but 90% of this clip is making them sound like horrific monsters. That’s how you get people to disrespect nature.

Jeremy has such a lovely smile! You don't see that much! 🙂 I've watched EVERY series that he's done....I just love his style of no nonsense, no stupid sound effects or over the top reactions. He really does know his stuff too. I'm not a fisherman (woman), but I am passionate about wildlife, and that includes whatever lives in our rivers and oceans. He's taught me so much!
